Danton True Young, also known by his initials D.T. Young, was an American baseball player who primarily played as a pitcher. He was born on July 30, 1967, in Stamford, Connecticut. The 6'5" right-hander began his professional career after being drafted in the fourth round of the 1987 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals.
Young made his major league debut on April 23, 1991, for the Royals and quickly established himself as a talented pitcher. Known for his imposing height and powerful fastball, he became a formidable presence on the mound. Throughout his career, Young played for several teams, including the Royals, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros, and St. Louis Cardinals.
